| Breaking News |  | Tohoku-Yokohama Announce Swap Thursday, November 19th, 2020: The Tohoku Mercenaries have finalized a deal with the Yokohama Bravery for the services of 19-year-old minor league shortstop Meiji Katsumata. In exchange, the Bravery will receive 26-year-old catcher Yoshiiku Ageda.
Ageda is hitting .234 during his 120-game career. He has 93 hits, 8 doubles, 1 triple, 25 home runs, 61 RBIs, no stolen bases and 50 runs scored.
|  | Earls Deal Youngblood to Greenfish for Hayashi Wednesday, November 11th, 2020: According to BNN there were mixed emotions by the players involved in the trade between the Tokyo Earls and the Yomiuri Greenfish. As part of the deal, the Earls swapped 34-year-old catcher Michael Youngblood to the Greenfish getting 30-year-old right fielder Yasukazu Hayashi in return. The players indicated it was good to get a fresh new start in another city, but it was difficult to leave your friends on the old team.
Youngblood has 267 career hits with a .283 batting average and 27 home runs.
In his career Hayashi has played in 829 games with a .252 batting average. Among his 617 hits are 112 doubles, 16 triples and 84 home runs. He also has scored 306 runs and driven in 355 runs. |  | Swap: Neal for Jackson Wednesday, November 11th, 2020: The players apparently knew they were on the trading block, so it did not surprise one of them when he learned that he had been traded to Tokyo. "Got my bags packed already," he said, when reached for comment. The Earls will receive 28-year-old minor league third baseman Monty Jackson, while 29-year-old catcher Mike Neal will go to the Seibu Czars.
In his career Neal is batting .228 with a total of 19 home runs.
