| Breaking News |  | League Suspends Flanagan, Failed Drug Test Friday, November 13th, 2020: John Flanagan got some bad press today. It was announced by the league office that the Benson starting pitcher had failed a drug test and would be suspended for 10 games. The league said he was guilty of using an illegal substance, contrary to league anti-drug policies.
Since joining the league, Flanagan has compiled an ERA of 2.34 with a career record of 4-5. He has 34 strikeouts in 80.2 innings and has held opponents to a .236 batting average. |  | Johnston Selected LCL's Best Batter Monday, September 28th, 2020: Pretty much all season Carl Johnston was "in the zone" and had his way with opposing pitchers. The Smokies left fielder managed to stay there long enough to earn the Lloyd Carr League Outstanding Hitter Award for 2020.
