With a .315 batting average, 15 doubles, 1 triple, 19 home runs, 47 RBIs and 39 runs scored, he was the top votegetter. |  | Best Pitcher Honor Goes to Thomas of Louisiana State Sunday, June 21st, 2020: He's in the early phase of his career, but this past season Jarrod Thomas performed like a veteran on the hill for the Louisiana State Tigers and walked away with the Hal Morris League Outstanding Pitcher Award in the process.
The 21-year-old Tigers star fashioned a 7-1 won-loss record in 2020 with a 2.18 ERA. In 82.2 innings of work and 11 starts, Thomas struck out 86 while giving up 72 hits and 13 walks. He held opposing batters to a .234 average. | | | | |
