McCluney numbered 8 strikeouts and issued 1 walk in a gem of a performance.
"We just didn't swing the bats very well . . . or he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," complained the Cummaquid manager after the defeat.
This season-to-date McCluney has 13 wins and 8 losses and a 3.12 ERA. | | | Injuries | | Player | Injury | Out for... | Disabled List Status | | P Bill Owens | fractured elbow | 3 months | On DL, eligible for return (60-day DL) | | | Team Information | | Record overall | 111-51, .685 PCT | | Position in Division | 1st, - GB | | Record at home | 57-24, .704 PCT | | Record on the road | 54-27, .667 PCT | | Record in X-inning games | 7-4, .636 PCT | | Record in one-run games | 30-14, .682 PCT | | Record versus LHP | 26-13, .667 PCT | | Record versus RHP | 85-38, .691 PCT | | Record last 10 games | 3-7, .300 PCT | | Record in April | 12-9, .571 PCT | | Record in May | 18-11, .621 PCT | | Record in June | 22-6, .786 PCT | | Record in July | 17-8, .680 PCT | | Record in August | 25-3, .893 PCT | | Record in September | 15-12, .556 PCT | | Record in October | 2-2, .500 PCT |
